What is the last gun that you bought?

I felt compelled to buy a Ruger 10/22, basic version, but already have a Hogue over-molded stock (OD green), tactical rail, sling, and swivels for sling enroute. Oh, and another rotary magazine and one of the new Ruger 25-round magazines everyone seems to love. A decent 3-9x or fixed/illuminated 4x scope and perhaps a new trigger will likely happen in the near future.

last gun purchased

I just purchased a ruger sp101 in 327 I traded or should i say sold a marlin 336 in 444 to get it I like the fact that I can shoot four differant rounds in it.

Thompson Center .50 cal triumph Muzzy. Almost submitted to purchasing a mosin 91/30 at the last gun show, but since my safe is full, I'd have to relegate one of those arms to a soft sided case or get a new safe...so I declined mainly due to my wife specifically noting not to come home with any more guns. So my buddy and I went and bought a surplus mosin with all of the goodies packed in cosmoline with all matching numbers. It's peculiar how he let me thoroughly inspect the firearm for him until I was satisfied only to note to me that I could rent it from him on a permanent basis for the mere cost of the one time payment of the purchase price....hmm...what a deal on this piece of history!

purchased a used ,but pristine Rem 700 in .338 Win Mag recently, to replace the same model and caliber butchered beyond words by a gunsmith, long story, over ,,

sighted in the newly acquired 700 Remmy boomer with some 250 grn Speer GS handloads,,
and 2 days later dropped this 5x5 Bull Elk at 220 yards free hand shot, Bang! Flop!, just couple of miles from my home,,

I just recently purchased a Remington "Wingmaster" 870 20 GA. This is quite the story, as this is the first gun I personally purchased for myself. I picked it up from a good friend for $40.00. I immediately began doing some research through Remington directly, and found it to be a 1953 model. It has the original wood forend and stock as well. I'm not sure if he knew what he had, or not? But from what I've researched I definitely got the better end of the deal!!!

Two weeks ago I got an MPA Protector .380.

I've busted the zippers out of 2 fanny packs in <2 years and needed something really, really small (and really inexpensive), to carry at work. My job involves bending over a sewing machine, leaning over tables, lifting, carrying, bending, twisting, etc. and I wear skirts rather than jeans with belts so a very small gun in a belly band around the ribs seemed the best option at the moment.

I've lost 40 lbs in the last 18 months and if I keep losing I may be able to carry the Slim in the belly band once the belly no longer protrudes past the ribcage.

Bought a gently used Kahr pm45 with a crimson trace laser. Wanted a a small carry in pistol caliber. Got it at a decent price as well.

My last gun I bought was a Taurus pt25 to replace my first gun that was a raven arms 25. The new ones not bad, haven't made it to the range yet, but it looks in great shape inside and out. I got it for $75 bucks, and I had like 200 rounds ammo from my old one, so I'm happy with buy. I'll post a range report as soon as I make it there.

Are you a woman?

Yes, I am a woman. While the utilikilt has fans, not all that many men wear skirts to work. :D

Why do you ask?

I am trying to get a better idea of what you are talking about. If you're a woman, I understand what you are talking about. If not, I would be unclear on what you were saying.

That makes sense.

After only 2 weeks I'm starting to think that the only way I'll get my Slim back from my DH is if I buy him a Ruger LC9 of his own (which I would have bought instead of the Slim if it had been available at that time).

I picked up a Benelli Vinci today. Got a pretty good deal I think – NIB for $1100.

They had an M2 for $1000 and I almost went with that one. They handled the same to me but in the end, ugly as it is, the Vinci won out.

I had no intention of buying a shotgun today.
