What is the last gun that you bought?

A Ruger LCR .357 magnum snub nose revolver for concealed carry. I haven't fired it much, but it carries very comfortably.

Just picked up a "used" Glock 20c, that doesn't look like it has been fired and still has the factory grease on it, $499.

Ruger, SP101,2 1/8 inch .357.Its a butt kicker with full power loads but great fun.biker

My last gun was a Springfield Armory Range Officer. Gorgeous gun, great to shoot and nice to look at. . .

Ruger LC9 to replace my LCP, anyone know how to improve the long trigger pull?
Finger exercises? :p Being a hammer fired, double action pistol (much like your LCP), I doubt there is much you can do about that.

:)

If anybody figures out how to improve the trigger pull on the LC9 please post it. Not a bad carry pistol, but the trigger has a little to be desired. I am also a HUGE 1911 guy and I shouldn't try to compare, but if I am not mistaken I think it about a day or so to pull the damn thing. Not saying it has a long pull or anything , but it sure seems like it. (Sorry for the little humor)

kerstingm, you'll never get any true DA trigger anywhere close to a good SA system like the 1911. That said, the additional travel does make the pistol quite a bit safer for stressful situations, as well as while carrying chambered without a safety engaged (which, IIRC, it does come equipped with). You just have to remember what the intended purpose is (it'll never be a target pistol), and train to make the most of it.

:)

I know and agree with everything you are saying. The main thing is it is all about making it as safe as possible. I was just throwing a little fun in it has has to be the longest trigger pull I own, but at the end of the day I still really like the products Ruger puts out.

I agree, from what I can tell (I don't own one, but I have a mite bit of trigger time with one) it seems like a nice pistol, very similar to miss Elsie Pea. I just wish it was DA/SA (for the reason you mentioned)...in which case I'd likely pick one up. Hope your's serves you well.

:)

Please help me, I need intervention. In November I bought an AR10, a SIG 1911 C3 .45, and an STI Trojan 1911 9mm.

Today I bought a Kimber 1911 CDP II .45.

NIB Colt Pre-Ban AR15 Model 6700 Sporter Competion HBAR (20" barrel)
Sold off my Olympic Arms AR15 PCR (2004 purchase) when I couldn't get an answer from Andy in repair....on why it was jamming a round between the bolt and the inside top of the receiver...sold it off with the warning to the buyer....

I bought two S&W Sigma pistols in 9mm. I had several guns loaded and chambered in the house and I decided to standardize on the Sigmas. Both have laser sights and a spare, loaded magazine next to each one.
