What is the last gun that you bought?

"Picked up a slightly used 1911 Ed Brown Kobra Carry today."

And you did not post a picture. You should be banned!
Here are a couple pics. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked it up to find it decked out with Esmerelda grips. I want to do a nicer photoshoot of all my newly aquired 1911's later this week.

love them war horses

yugo m48, thinking of trading for a 03A3 love the 30 06. 8mm ammo sure is hard to find in western NY. I must not be looking in the right places maybe. Besides it would really complement my M1

I picked up a Kel-Tec SU-16ca in. .223Rem. Have not shot it yet. Looking forward to talking it out. Added a reddot sight & a flash suppresser.Feels like a toy. But that was how I felt when I was handed my first M16 Rifle &my glock 19 ! Changed my mind quickly!

A very little used, almost like new really, stock Smith and Wesson 1006 10mm with the box; the book, cards, and cleaning kit in it along with the wax paper and trigger block all look brand new. No magazine safety, factory Novak sights. Looks like it was test fired and put up long ago. Almost a shame to fire it, I looked at Gunbroker and one like it was going for $1050 and another for $950. There was a beat up one for $750.

But I got mine for an honest $680 face to face at a gunshow! Shoots phenomenally well, took my most powerful handloads with ease. What a tank. I plan on getting Smith and Wesson to work on the trigger and I'll add adj. sights and get a set of recoil springs. Maybe some wood grips.

Gunshow before that I picked up a like new 649 .357 for only $450. Wife took that one though.

Super Match

Walked into one of my FFL dealers and saw an aura around this rifle in the far corner of the store:what:. My Grandson was with me and said Granpa you are sweating. Well here was this brand new just out of the box Sat morning Springfiels Armory Super Match M1A with a Krieger barrel standing in the rack.

In short it now stands at home:D in the safe with my Grandson coming over this morning to give it a clean.

I used to have one and sold :banghead: it to a student who was doing well in matches with a loaded M1A but needed a better rifle to get better.

I got three guns a week ago at the gun show, with a median cost of $35.

Some ask me why I buy such cheap guns.
That is like asking someone why they are reading a cheap book.

Here is a pic of the one that cost $35.
The 38 S&W was made in 1895, but one of the grips is not original.
It locks up tight when the trigger is pulled.

031.jpg My last purchase was this Glenfield model 60. I found it at the local pawn shop and couldn't leave without it. As much as I hate to admit it as far as quality goes this thing blows my new Remlin model 60 out of the water.

UPDATE (I've lost track of how many "last guns bought" I've posted on this thread :) ) : For $300, a Smith & Wesson Hand Ejector Model of 1917, .45ACP. Tight, no rust, old dark greenish-brown finish. It's not a Brazilian return, but does have a CAI stamp on the underside of the barrel. S/N 23xxx.
