I'm new to this forum, but this looks like a winner forum.
I have a friend who's father passed away, and he left him this Anschutz...But there is no model # on it, and no way that I can see to determine when it was built, and eventually what it is worth. I saw another thread that had similar questions, but the thread did not have exactly the same gun (although KarlG described a gun he had almost identically to this one).
Can someone help me as I try to figure this out? Anyone have one of these?
My guess is it is pre 1960.
It is probably a youth model.
Single shot, bolt.
"Fake" butt plate (grooved wood, painted black)
Rifled barrel...(I noticed some Anschutz claim to be "smooth bore")
I have not shot it yet...maybe this weekend.
