Seriously, I don't know, maybe $50. $100 at the most.
ETA: I did a quick Google search, and found out that they are actually one of the better .25 autos as far as quality and reliability. They are no longer imported because of the GCA '68, and they might not even be made anymore. Value is about what I said, $50-100 depending on condition, with brand NIB going for about $140-160. Hope that helps you.
C'mon guys! I am a big fan of little mini pocket guns. I have seen these up close at my gun shop of choice and have been tempted to purchase one myself...
For $16 you can't go wrong IMO... Good job!
Seriously, for $16 I think thats an outstanding find. I've never seen a working pistol sold for $16 .. hehe.
Besides, I think old pocket guns are a really fun thing to have around.
Just so you would know, I would pay $50 at my local store just to have it as a gee-whiz gun. I don't have any "need" for it so I probably wouldn't go any higher.
The current Tanfoglio GT 27 appears to be an updated version of your CT 27.
A PDF exploded view of the current GT 27 can be obtained here.
Without personally handling your CT 27 I would hesitate to snicker at what you got for $16. In fact, I would pay semi-serious money just to get an Italian non-Beretta small .25 that is not a clone of the Colt Vest Pocket or Baby Browning. It appears that you have such an animal.
I got a sweet deal on a bunch of evidence guns that were released for auction. The department turned them over to a gun dealer who allowed the officers to buy them at 80% of the blue book value.
Pat

I have had mine for about 3 to 4 years and fired countless rounds through it and its still working almost flawlessly wouldn't mind having another one to give my wife to join me at the range : P
