YM,
Thanks, its the "sweet spot" that I'm concerned about. Only one way to find out, I guess, and one of these days I'll likely get around to finding out.

I carry at least 3 knives on me all day long. I usually carry a blue Buck Whitaker Metro in my wallet, a Smith and Wesson Homeland Security folder (kind of a cool story behind that one) and a Leatherman Skeletool. Depending on what I'll be planning on doing that day, however, I may be caught with a Swiss Army knife or two and perhaps a folding carpet cutter. Man, those things are nifty. I also see that my favorite buddy is quite popular on here... the 2Cell Mini-Maglite LED. Awesome little light. :)

Glock 21SF in Galco summer comfort IWB holster, 2 spare mags in a Glaco leather mag carrier, Microtech Makora II, asp cuff, Surefire K2 Kroma flahlight, and phone.

My EDC.

Never leave home without them!

Well, I'm on a ship, so I can't carry a gun, but I do carry what I can to "stay safe" if a pirate attacks..

Leatherman Wave with 2.5" knife
35mw Green Laser (instant blinding effect)
Utility clip/magnetic LED for hat/belt usage
Carabiner for knuckle usage.

In my room, I have a 4' heavy gauge chain and a steel pipe, crude, but effective. I've thought about fashioning it into some sort of mace/flail, but don't want to get caught with one (dangerous weapon policy), so I have not done so :)

The Real Deal

And the off duty mall ninja version

The real one is
M&P .40s&w in a Comp-tac MTAC
Smith and Wesson Knife- Not amazing but a good knife
Cell phone

Nice P97, Halo... I had a P97, GREAT PISTOL! Only reason I sold it is because I fell in love with striker-fired guns and bought me a S&W M&P40.

Kershaw folder, keys, phone, wallet. Going on base prevents me from carrying as often as I'd like to. I add a SA 1911 if I'm not going to be on base.

Leatherman Pulse on belt, full-size CRKT folder in front pocket, phone with camera and video, full-size Kimber 1911 with three total mags, small knife on keychain. I usually wear prescription sunglass-goggles, and when it's cold either leather or a black field jacket. Shoes I can run and fight in.

Like lone gunman, I travel light:

Taurus Model 85B2
Pocket Knife

I'd suggest carrying your concealed weapon permit, or getting one soon. ;)

Kind of Blued carries:

Wallet
Small notepad
1 or 2 pens
Cellphone
Keys (on beltloop carabiner)
S&W 642 (Galco Ankle Glove)
SW1911 (IWB/OWB) and/or Kahr PM9 (IWB/Pocket -Depending on dress)
Speedloader for J-Frame
Spare mag for autoloader(s)
Mag-Lite LED in nylon holster (I miss my Surefire :()
SOG Twitch XL (Strong side pocket)

...and recently gave up the pack of Camels & lighter for a nicotine patch. :)
