I think for now mine is a BPS in 28 GA. that i picked up over a year ago. I have absolutely fallen in love with the 28 GA. and would like to try some other shotguns in that GA. Whats some of your favorites?

Yes, it's a 28 ga.

That I've used and would love to have? a Stevens 311 20ga.

Some of my favorites?

It's like asking me which of my kids I like better. Although I did recently shoot a 100 bird tournament with a 9+ lb O/U fitted with .410 subgauge tubes. I found it amusing in the extreme. I could hardly tell the thing fired except for the fact that the targets were breaking. It felt like I'd shot 100 squib loads, all in a row.

Exactly. I can't pick a favorite either.

The gun that delights me the most would be my Perazzi MX8-28 gauge. Great fun at sporting clays and a pure pleasure to shoot.

In the duck blind however my favorite is my Beretta 391.

Hunting upland my 12 gauge Iberian sxs on a 16 gauge frame is without peer.

When something goes bump in the night or there are mysterious noises in the barn nothing beats my 870.

Each one is a favorite for different reasons.

A nice classy O/U (Ive sadly never owned an O/U but prefer them) in 12 gauge.

But for now my Mav88 12g is serving me very well, just with much less panache.

Kinda assumes you do one thing, so one guns works.

I have a Weatherby Orion II that I use for clays. It's as close to perfect as I'm gonna get

Use a 10 gauge SP-10 for geese and turkeys. 3 1/2" shell with 2 oz might be a little much for sporting clays

I use an 870 for general field stuff and a rifled barrel for deer.

"Nice Steve. You would pick the one that never misses"

Never needs reloading either- now THAT is an interesting feature!

Well, I'm very glad to hear that redranger1! The 28ga BPS I ordered just came in on tuesday! I've only got to shoot two boxes through it, but I am in love! I'm sad because I'm travelling to Asia for three weeks on monday and won't get to shoot it again until amost November!

As far as the one I shoot the most and am the best with, it must be my 12ga SKB 85TSS O/U 30". It weighs almost ten pounds and after picking up something like a Beretta 682 Gold E it feels incredibly unsexy and cumbersome, but I have never found a gun I shoot so well! It swings so well and fits me like a glove. Shot my first 25 straight in skeet with it this spring in a windstorm and my second a week later in a downpour!

For a pump action, I love mossberg 12 guages. (I have a 500).
For a semi auto, I would love to have a Bennelli SBE II :D

Obsolete Eastern Arms early 1900's SBS 12ga 30" barrel with pearl sights. Holds a tight pattern. Not a high tech gun at all but it locks up tight and fires well. I think it's the age I like best.

Marlin single shot .410. Gun weighs under 5 lbs and swings nicer than a fine double.

I had an 870 in 28, but it just didn't fit me. I'd love a superlight 28 gauge double, but the American ones are super expensive and I have no illegal aliens in my safe.
