You did not say what caliber you wanted. If it's .223, I'm sure lots of folks will sell you stuff. If it's 7.7mm JAP, or 6.5mm Carcano - that's a whole 'nuther deal.

Despite being perfectly legal, most online shops have been scared away from selling to any Cook county resident by Daley and his gang (most notably Lisa Madigan).
So I applaud them for not folding to the Tyranny.

Even if CTD's prices could be a bit lower for 1,000 rds. of 7.62x39 than competition, they won't receive my business.
Their price-gouging was more obvious and quicker during the post-election, scalper-induced buying panic than among other sellers.
Ammoman will receive my credit card number today for 1,000 rds of x39 Wolf jhp. (856) 767-8835.
Last spring he also had very good prices for 900 rds. of surplus 8mm Mauser etc.

www.ammunitiontogo.com is my favorite site for volume purchases. So is www.wideners.com. Both sites have some good deals on ammo. The first site has some of the hard to find stuff for great prices. Then once in a while, www.cabelas.com or www.basspro.com will have the occasional free shipping that makes it worth it to buy from them.

Just check gun-deals.com and you will save time (not my site, just a happy user) it calculates shipping too which allows you see who is really cheapest. Some places have a good looking base price, but charge upwards of $30 or $40 for shipping, while others may offer flat rate shipping that is significantly cheaper.

I haven't done business on line, but went to their store in Lakewood, WA. I was very impressed. They had 200 rd battlepacks of German 7.62x51mm for $80 and I got some S&B 9mm for $9.50.
