Yeah any of my Duck guns. They get the worst of it. Usually the duck guns just get wiped down and a coat of rem-oil after the hunt. My Black eagle 2 works 100% even after its been dropped in swamp water!

This is my sar-2 I put a hundreds of corrosive ammo through each month. I still clean it every time since its corrosive ammo, but it is my abuse gun out of all my aks.

HK USP 9. doesnt need cleaned

:what::what::rolleyes:

Ohhhkay.

I dont own a gun I dont clean, or at least run a boresnake thru after shooting, I tend to be a little more lax with my ruger 10/22.

I have an 870 express that I beat on, but don't out and out abuse.

Its the gun that gets grabbed when its raining, snowing a lot, or when I think I will be in thick stuff.

The finish is starting to get worn off from my wool mittens, and the bolt is starting to lose its finish too.

It's cheap, and ugly, but I love that gun. I imagine it will easily outlast me.

Deus Machina:

It was only $199 from Classic Arms. I bought 2, one chromed and one parkerized, all for $329. With different recoil springs and the Harrington firing pin kits, they're now two very effective guns.

It's weird. I had put custom grips on it and it looked killer but, unlike pretty much everyone else I've heard, I like the original grips. Here's what it looked like for about a week:

Any gun ever duck hunted with.

My duck gun,

Yeah any of my Duck guns. They get the worst of it.

It must be something in our genes. Abuse the he!! out of a piece of machinery, expect it to work 100% of the time, and not be surprised when it does.

My main duck gun (Franchi 912) has it easy. Yes it has some specks of surface rust on it. Yes it has been used as a boat paddle (unloaded of course) a time or two. Yes the barrel has some stains from blood splatter from dispatching a few birds. But it gets cleaned at the end of every season. Once February came around, I've never, not cleaned it.

Now the backup gun (870) gets cleaned once every ? years. The teflon coating is flaking off, the grip is taped together, it has no ejector. It used to go all season and never come out of the boat, and never saw the inside of a case. It went "swimming" with me in the ocean one time. (Don't ask, and for those waterfowlers, you already know I'm sure.:D)I found it one morning with about 1/4 inch of ice coating it. (It took a long soak on the bottom of the lake that morning. I still hunted with it.) Once after cleaning it, the action was slow and gummed up with oil. To fix the problem I dumped a handful of sand in the action. Worked it for about 20 seconds, then dumped the oil laden sand out. I had a perfectly functioning gun after that. I think that was the last time it was cleaned. Maybe 4 or 5 years ago.

These guns are nothing more than tools to me, and I treat them as such.

I have a nylon 66, that I have had forever.
notice the top of the stock that covers the barrel is missing.
that is because in 2002 during a big storm in memphis, a 6 foot diameter oak tree fell on the house, broke my house from end to end.(nation wide insurance, fixed everything back, no problems.) the rifle was by the back door in the utility room, the entire room was gone.
I saw the gun sticking out of the rubble as the bulldozer was about to put it in the truck.
I filled the bottom of the stock with fiberglass and it has worked fine ever since.

I have a Maverick 88 12ga. shotgun that rides behind the seat of my truck... I would take a photo and post it, however, I may get in trouble for gun abuse!

I have a Hi-Point C9 that I thought would make a good range slave, but it is actually too boring to shoot that much, so it stays locked away without getting any attention.

I think I'd like to get a sub2K to fill that roll now.
