Hello,

Being that I don't really get out to shoot very frequently, I probably haven't shot more than ~500 rounds through any of my firearms (except for my 10/22, which is probably at around ~2000).

Just curious though, which firearm of yours has the highest round count? Approximately how many rounds have you fired?

My over/under set up for trap competitions. I have a record somewhere, but off the top of my head it's probably somewhere between 28,000-30,000.

Nothing spectacular on any one particular pistol, but my four center fire range favorites are over 15,000 rounds each, a Kahr CW9 I practice with weekly is oner 10,000. My S&W M22A is approaching 60,000 and would be way over it if I hadn't cut way down on .22lr since December.

My Ruger MKII has somewhere north of 100k rounds through it. I have replaced the sear twice, but other than that it is still shooting just as well as the day I bought it.

I inherited a Ruger Mk I/Standard model from my dad, I don't know about round count, but the bluing is mostly worn off, there is a patina under the grips, and I had to replace the spring-rod. I know it was his desert carry and under-the-seat-of-the-truck gun for about 40 years.

Norinco National Match AK(longer, heavier barrel), 7.62x39, ~1,500 rds.
Ruger 10/22 ~1,000 rds.
Astra .380 ~800 rds.
Stevens 12 ga. SxS shotty, total of both barrels ~5,000 rds.
:D

My highest round count firearm would be a 22/45 mkIII target with ~6k down range.... It's not quite a year old yet but close. Recently broke the rebound spring so I installed the bolt from a 22/45 lite until I get another spring.
This gun will last longer than I will.

1919A4 with somewhere over 70,000 rounds that I have fired. God only knows what the military ran through it in prior lifetimes.

Remington 510 Targetmaster .22LR. It was my father's and then it was my first rifle. Must have at least 20,000 rounds through it and still going strong. Still shoot a crow in the head with open sights at 30m.

I have a Wilson Combat CQB for which I lost the records in a computer crash after it was over 80K rounds and have put another 40 or 50k through it since then. It is currently resting.

And considering that means loading and shooting one round at a time that is something... :)

My 510P was a gift (used) in 1958 and as of today I haven't a clue how many rounds went down that barrel but like yours today it remains a tack driver.

My Marlin Golden 39-A Mountie. My uncle gave it to me in 1963.

Second place would be my '99 Kimber Stainless Gold Match with over 30k.

The story of my life; too many guns, never enough ammo.

Rimfire: Ruger 10/22, purchased in 1986.

Centerfire: Taurus M66, purchased the following year.

I cannot say anything about how many rounds have been through each of these, but I know that I have not shot anything I've gotten later as many times as each of these.

AR15 (competition rifle) - about 20,000

Glock 34 (competition pistol) - about 12,000

Springfield Armory M1 Garand (manufactured 1941) - unknown, but probably a good bit more than my other guns.

Remington Speedmaster (.22) - Probably around 30,000

Beretta 3901 - About 8,000 (hunting shotgun)

Mossberg 930 JM (3 gun shotgun) - About 4,500

Not mine, but someone else's. I ate dinner at Camp Perry across from a small bore prone shooter who estimated he had 700,000 rounds through his Anschutz rifle.

He may have replaced the mainsprings and a firing pin, but I don't know. My question was about barrel life and he had 700,000 rounds through the barrel.

870TB bought in 1972. Used ever since for trap and I generally shoot weekly and in two leagues. Somewhere over 150,000 rounds. One new trigger, one new firing pin.

Springfield XDM 4.5" .40S&W: 7,000+

Ruger MK3 Target: 12,000+

CZ75B: 5,000+

Norinco SKS: 1,500+

Inter Ordinance AK47: 1,000

I know that most of my guns have relatively low round counts compared to most but hey, I'm poor and the ammo drought has caused me to shoot even less than I did before.

I have a Remington Nylon 66 .22 that was the first gun I purchased myself. No actual count - but I would guess it's had well over 10,000 through it. Had scopes on scopes off, slings on slings off, been bounced around in pickup gun racks, back seats, and car trunks forever. Its the one gun I will never get rid of. Had to get the extractor replaced once due to a ruptured case - but its probably had 4,000 thru it since. None of my others even come close to that one in round count. No cheap conveinient nearby place to shoot, and ammo costs too darn much.....:(

At present it's my Sig P239 with over 10K.
Previously, it was an MP40 that had over 25K. It's the only weapon I wish I'd never gotten rid of.... :(
