What LOP do you find to be your sweet spot?

If you respond, please list your height and if you have long or short arms. I want to see if there is a correlation between height and arm length to LOP. The reason I want to know is because I am 6'3" tall with pretty long arms yet prefer a LOP of 10.5". My co-worker who is 2 inches taller than me with a reach that's a little longer prefers a LOP of 11".

What type of grip?
I can shoot guns from 14-1/4 to 15-1/4 depending on the gun grip and fit

For a defensive shotgun out of a squared-up stance, 12.5" is definitely it.

For wingshooting from a more bladed stance, the usual 14" works.

6'3", 37" sleeves...

5'10" (down an inch ) and 33" sleeve and I use the same as Fred with maybe a 1/4" more (14 1/4") for clays. 12.5- 12 3/4" for inside work seems to be it for most, um , operators without raid vests or hard armor. 10.5 would be kinda short and leave a winkie butt surface for a 12 gauge and even with a turtle shell would be kinda short. Even at 12.5" with shirt sleeves I get some thumb whack to the cheek in Rolling Thunder

I'm 6 foot average arm length. About 13.5 to 12.75" works well in general.

I am 6'3" and I prefer 14-3/4 for most guns, but an English grip is comfortable with 15. The more relaxed the grip, the longer the LOP

I am 6 ft 4 and have 15 1/2 inch length of pull on all competition guns and 15" on field guns.
