I have an OEM 20" 10/22 (have a BX trigger I'm soon to install, otherwise all-original), want to put a Leupold 2-7 x 33 VX Rimfire on it. Since this is not an NRL22 rifle, I don't feel the need for anything bigger!

What mount is good for a smallish scope like that? Ideally parts I can order from Midway along with the scope, but not an absolute requirement.

I do like Burris Zee rings and have even used their Signature version to avoid scratching up scopes.
However the Signature mediums do sit a little higher than regular Zee mediums.
And you can't go lower than medium on Signatures due to that plastic bushing system.

IIRC these were Signatures on a 60's era standard. The rings are steel and they do add some weight.
The 2.5-8X Leupold is comparable in size to the 2-7X.

Used a 2-7X and Leupold aluminum rifleman rings on the rig below...on a Weaver pic rail.
This was my favorite setup (sporter w high comb).
The Leupold rifleman rings are not the most pretty, would be better if ears radiused, but I don't mind. Have had good luck with em on a few rigs.

Don't own a 10/22 anymore, was gonna do a custom build on the sporter, since it was dinged up and nobody ever had the bbl
I wanted in stock.

You want low rings. You can spend as much as you want, but the Leupold Rifleman or Weaver 4X4's will work as good as anything else.
