The short days are my biggest problem. Once its starts staying light out until 8 or 9 I get out a lot more. I got a outdoor range within a half hour from my house, so I hit it about once a week.
I do belong to a indoor range, and go about once a week, but I only stay about a 1/2 hour. Its just not as much fun shooting indoors, and only 25 yards.

Time. The outdoor range closes at 5, and I don't get off work until 6. Not that it matters right now, as it's pitch dark when I leave here. And after nearly getting shot the last time I shot at the indoor range in LR, I'm not anticipating going back there anytime soon.

Right now, every other week seems to be working for me.

I'd give anything for a members-only club and range within reasonable driving distance of me. I'd happily pay $250 a year AND volunteer to mow the grass if I could have that.

HUNGER!! I get very hungry when I do not work and have money for groceries.

Convicted Felon

Not really, just seeing if you guys are paying attention.:neener:
For me its time...like too much dark.
I'll start shooting more as the daylight gets longer.

School.

I have to keep my stuff off-campus, and by the time I can get to the range, about 45 minutes has passed. So I feel the need to spend most of the day there to justify it, and I can't always take off for most of a day...

Living about 30 miles away takes about 70 mins round trip (thank goodness for a car with 35 mpg or so) so that helps cut into the shooting time as well as getting dark at 5:30. To be worthwhile, I need to have at least 2.5 hours blocked off to go shoot and come home.

Then you have to clean the guns and reload for the next visit. Takes about 5 hours spread across 2-3 evenings for one trip to the range.
