My freind, 280PLUS, has a CZ 527 that was an absolute dream to shoot. This thing had a trigger that could be set to fire with a thought. Accurate as heck. Shot 7.62 39 like a laser. Totally impressd me. Deffinitly on my gotta have list.

My actual rifle needs are pretty well covered by the guns I have -- as soon as I pick up the pseudo-scout I just bought over at TFL, anyway. I do want a CMP M1 for fun shooting, though, and will likely order one in the next 1-2 months. I've given some thought to a Winchester 94 as a fun gun, too, though I can't really justify it (and .30-30 ammo prices!) in light of the guns I currently own.

My next rifle is going to be a battle rifle clone of some sort--either a JLD or DS Arms FAL in either a full rifle or carbine configuration. I hope to end up with an example of each. I also need an Arsenal AK just so I know how inadequate my WASR is.
I also want to build a new hunting rifle on a Montana M1999 action in an as of yet undecided caliber from .270 Win to .338 Win. And I imagine by the time I get that one built, I'll want a really nice precision rifle so I'll probably start on another one in .243 Win or .204 Ruger for target and varmint work.

Or at least that is the current and abridged list.

I'm not joking. I have a small project in mind to accurize one and have the perfect, for me, do-it-all .22 rifle for small game, benchrest, and smallbore sillouette.

Although, another M1, another K98k, '03A3, P17 Enfield, and several others would be nice.
