Harve sounds like you and I may have leased the same property. Also be sure to include the timeline of the hunting rights, if it is an annual lease make sure to include start date to end date. Don't trust the hand shake because "thats how we do thangs out here" crap either. Another hard lesson learned.
Our lease from the timber company gives us rights to all recreational activities on the property year round and the ability to construct a 50'x50' camp/parking area.
get it writing and spell it out. no verbal agreements can be enforced. and make sure if its going to be exclusive where you are the only one hunting, or if you can bring a guest..important...and if the land owner decides to break the lease, make sure he knows you intend to
