Anyone have a picture they can post of the so called "smooth trigger" for glocks ? I've owned alot of glocks and they have all had the same trigger as far as I can remember. I have a glock 30 now that seems to wear my finger out , any ideas ?

Thanks , John

They are referring to the face of the trigger, specifically the portion that touches your finger. The full size Glocks (G17, G17L, G20, G21, G22, G24, G31, G34, and G35) have smooth trigger faces. All of the others, in order to gain enough ATF "points" for importation, have a serrated trigger face, which qualifies it as a target trigger, which means more ATF points. Glocks were designed to use smooth trigger faces. It makes a difference, especially for calibers over 9mm. Here are two photos of my G29 (10mm) that has a smooth trigger assembly installed:

I have replaced my 27, 2x19, 30, and 29 with smooth triggers. I just wish I could get them for the 36. You can order the triggers from places like glockmeister and swap them out fairly easily yourself.

Is it legal to put a smooth trigger on a compact or sub-compact? Or is it just a way to get the pistol into the country by earning enough points?
