I can't get the front sight to budge. I have a sight tool for an SKS. They appear to be the same as the AK ones though as far as I know. I've turned the sight tool using a pliers for leverage so hard I'm afraid I'm gonna break something or strip the threads. What am I doing wrong???

Well, y'see, the widget was pressing too tight against the doomaflopper, so the dingus couldn't budge the bobamagniht, and it all went to hell when the whatsit hit the humdinger, and all the whoseewhatsits when flying everywhere.

Yeah, that about sums it up.

The press screw on the sight adjusting tool just fits the press in bar that holds the AK front post sight. If they aren't lined up properly no matter how hard one tries to turn the sight adjust screw it will not move because it's pressin on the sight mount not the sight adjusting bar.

Uhhhhhh..... you gotta see it! :D

Same thing with my AMD. Thought I was going to break something.

On the plus side, once you set it, it ain't going anywhere.

My AMD is now dead on at 100yds with 154g SP Wolf.

I almost bent the thing then I heard a loud *craaaaaaaack*....thought the threads had stripped out or something broke, but I noticed the site moved a little.

It was easier after that. Still won't move without the pliers though...

Save yourselves a lot of aggravation and get the B-Square sight tool. It will be the best $20 you've ever spent on your AK/SKS.
