Where have you found 6920's for MSRP? The cheapest I have seen them is 1800-1900 whereas MSRP is 1200-1400? I really want to grab one but I don't want to shell out the hundreds extra. If you know something I don't please share!!
Play Maker, a Colt 6920 for $2300 is highway robbery. I handled but was not in a position to buy a Colt 6920 in Rapid City last week priced at $1550.99...
I wish I had been able to buy it, as it seemed like a really nice rifle. Not to worry they'll make more, and a whole bunch of Democrats in the house (about 65-70 of them) sent a letter to Eric Holder and Obama telling them that they would not support another AWB under any circumstances. Not that we can relax completely but no need to be panicking just yet.

I doubt it. The market cant sustain much higher prices. At least not for much longer... not in a recession/depression. I'm not panicking, things will come down soon enough.
Is the Colt 6920's 5150 cmv barrel considered chrome-lined? If not which is more desireable and can I get it chrome-lined? Also is it considered gov't profile?

The 4150 CMV barrel in the Colt 6920 has a chrome lined barrel and chamber. The type of steel used has no bearing on the ability to be chrome lined.
Honestly a 4140 chrome lined bore will also be very very very durable too, so if you find a rifle you like and it has a 4140 chrome lined barrel go for it!

i bought my 16"hbar bushmaster right after the clinton ban expired.
its a law enforcement model with 4150 cmv barrel.
im not sure if other bushmasters have it or not.

i thought bushys were all 4140? must have been a limited run- i'd bet a dollar they dont use 4150CMV now
you would lose that dollar.
the only barrels that bushmaster makes that are not 4150cmv are the stainless models.
