I'm looking to buy a trail camera and was looking at the cuddeback expert. Then I started to read reviews on the cuddebacks at Cabela's and Bass pro and the over all reviews were not that good. So I started reading reviews on the other brand cameras and the reviews were not that great on those too. This will not be my first camera, I bought one a few year back and I can't remember the name. This camera was no good the trigger time was way too slow and the picture quality stunk, it was a digital camera too. I have some big bucks that live where I hunt and would like to get a look at them but I am lost on which camera to get.

What cameras do you have or have used and what do you think about them over all?

Buy the Cuddeback.... Between my father, uncle, and I, we have almost 30 of them. (yes, 30). I started out with Cam Trackers (no problems with them), then switched over to the Cuddedback becuase their digitals were a little less expensive and seemed to take as good of photos when compared to the Cam Trackers. We really use ours alot, and the only problems we have had with them are the dang birds pecking out the glass every now and then! Take care of the batteries, clean the insides out every now and then, and they will be just fine.

I have owned several brands of cameras (and I use the term camera loosely since most on the market don't actually have a "camera" in them), and I am currently using 2 Camtrakkers and an older homemade digital. My Moultrie worked for a short time and had to be replaced twice before I finally gave it to a friend. My Cuddeback is now a boat anchor. It never did work, and Cuddeback customer service told me that I was just out of luck. I now have a very expensive boat anchor.

I have over 200,000 pictures between my 2 Camtrakkers and have never had a hiccup. They are the best $1000 I have ever spent.
