My first centerfire handgun was an 1891 Iver Johnson top break in .32S&W. Flat latch, free spinning cylinder in either direction. Nickel with wood grips made by the original owner I believe. Sat in a drawer for 100 years. Made in the same city where I was living, and I even got to see the old Iver Johnson factory in Fitchburg/where I lived. Never been fired by me yet, needed a part that took me forever to find. Finally got it, just haven't loaded any BP .32S&W yet. Got a lot of projects going on.
Cool to say my first centerfire handgun was a literal antique made in the same city, about four minutes from my house almost a hundred and thirty years ago.
