Lee reloader. Bought it in about 1987. If you bought a set of dies the press was $9.95. Still have and use the press and the dies. Think I got my money's worth.

We started off on a Rockchucker Supreme and would definately have it still if #?*! thieves hadn't stolen it. Now we're making do with a Reloader Special and a Lee Breech Lock. We're getting by, but neither is half the press the RC is. Need another one.

Lee Pro 1000 back in 1987, still using it today. Or should I say still learning how to use it.
Great deal then and even now.

1st press RCBS rs3 I still use for rifle. 1st 12 ga mec 600 (not jr). 1st 20 ga lee loadall. All been used and no trouble with any. Still have all.

I started with a RL550b which is my main press. I am planning on buying a new RL550b soon so I can run Large primer on one and small primers on the other.

My first press was a Herters Super Model 3 I bought used in 1962.

I am smiling rcmodel. I bought my Herter's Model 3 in 1957, and yes, I still use it. I got quite a variety of shell holders when you could still get them from Herter's then my son-in-law, a machinist, made me two adapters. That old press cost $13 new in 1957.

I started reloading a couple of years ago. I bought a Redding Big Boss II and I think my great grandkids will eventually use it. Its built like a tank. Same goes for the T-7 turret and RCBS Pro 2000. I even have a Rock Chucker Jr from 1967 that still works like new.

Most reloading presses are built to last a lifetime. Unlike most new products nowadays.

Lee Classic (I think) bought it used in 1986 and still use it today (only press I have ever owned).

Forster Co-Ax ... no, sold it if favor of one I liked a lot better, a Redding Ultramag and still have it on the bench.

Dillon RL550B was my first press, and a few days later, a RCBS Rockchuker.
After many thousand rounds, I load primaily with the RCBS.
Like them both, but trust the Rockchukers alignment more for long range shooting.

First reloader

You guys must be young, my first reloader was a Lee (wham-bang) used it several years. Then got a C&H press, Then got a RCBS Rockchucker (still use) and also a Dillon 550 turret press and really like it. Al

lyman spartan purchased 1976 along with a Mec 600 jr in 12 ga, still have both and use them frequently. If my memory serves me correctly i bought them both from an outfit called Charter Oak Distributors along with some dies and accessories and paid about $125!!!!! I have the invoice somewhere in my files, i'll dig it out and edit this later to add the actual costs. man were things inexpensive back then compared to now!!

Bull

Started with a Lyman tong tool in 222 Rem. Later got a Lyman turret(used), followed it with a CH or Herters...... Took some time off for career and family. Started back with Lee mallet loader, then RCBS RS....... then we got atone tool again for the bench rifle(go figure)

RCBS RS2 and I used it last night loading some 223. Had it since about 1985. Have a Rockcucker somewhere in the house I won off of a Friends of NRA raffle. I'll give it a try when it shows up.

My first press goes way back to the 1970's and was a salesmans sample that a salesman gave me, it was a Bair, yes I still have it and it works just fine, came with a scale, powder measure, dies, case prep tools etc.

However I had been reloading for years before that with Lee Loaders and using friends equipment.
