The picture is ambiguous, such that one can't tell if the unloaded gun is being grabbed and put out of action or picked up for target practice.

How about the same words over a picture of a woman learning to shoot a pistol?
 
I like it and don't find it ambigous. This isn't targeted to people who know how a firearm operates. It looks good with the slide back and the barrel and guide rod exposed. Looks complicated and interesting.
 
Yes, crop the bottom caption, so it delivers the message that guns should be taken away to protect the living. Great idea, folks.

I'm sure that picture has a use somewhere, but without clearer wording, it could be taken either way.
 
I will re-make it with a photo showing teaching process, but I couldn't find recent images of people learning to shoot. I'll look in my archives today and update.
 
I checked out the 'Democratic Underground' guns forum, expecting to see all kinds of chaos, but what I actually saw was mostly pro RTKBA. There was a poll on whether or not we should fear the government, and whether or not guns are needed to keep them under wraps (or something to that extent).

Unless a load of us managed to infiltrate it, and vote purely on the gun issues, I would say that it isn't looking too bad.

Oh, and nice work, as always Oleg. :D

also is there a good way to find your previous works all in one place. I want to get some of them but dont have time at work and sometimes cant find them later.

Not really. I am sacrificing sleep and work progress to get these out. Better fight with a keyboard today than with a rifle tomorrow.
