A couple days ago I happened to get into a discussion with a couple former Communists from another country. They were talking about Vietnam.
It was very important to them as it marked the end of communist expansion and the end of it's influence to a large degree. After Vietnam communism rightly became associated with Nazism.
This was a turning point in their lives and their country. This was the purpose if the war. We did lose Vietnam but we did win the war. As a vet, it means a lot to me and it is something I had not heard much about before.
Now if we could stop it here that would be great.

As interesting as that discussion would be (and it WOULD be!) discussions of types of government and economic policies are off-topic here at THR.

Remember the very first rule we have here:

1. All topics and posts must be related to firearms or 'Right to Keep and Bear Arms' (RKBA) issues.

Communism and even military history just don't make that cut.
