Higgy - gunsmithing FFL? As a gunsmith, I'm not aware of such a thing. I think you mean just a standard 01 FFL. 
Anyway, to the OP - it sounds like the "gunsmith" (I do not regard him as such) broke your stock by improperly attempting to take the bolt out. There isn't much you can do about it, but make certain that this sort of thing doesn't happen in the future.
The "gunsmith" knew he broke something, knew he'd done wrong, and instead of fixing it correctly or informing you, he apparently (I need to see the picture to say for sure) wrecked the stock.
