I have an offer to trade a springfield loaded 1911 and a s&w 19-5 with ammo and a leather holster for my Colt railgun. As much as I love my railgun I cannot bring myself to pass this deal up. I am wondering though if there is that big a difference between the springfield and the railgun. I just hope I dont want to regret making the deal.

What would you do and why?

Quantity vs Quality.

I personally am very happy with my Springer so have no problem with that part of the trade.

It's really a question of the S&W. Love a good revolver and it's very versatile and gives you many opportunities to shoot more than just a 45ACP.

If its an older model S&W without the frame lock I say go for it. (firing pin is on the hammer)

Just purchased an old (1958) mod 19 (no dash) and these revolvers are truly wonderful to own and shoot.
