I have a Browning BAR 30-06 grade I with Leupold rings and mounts but no scope. I have a friend that has been after me for a while to sell it to him. What's this thing really worth? I hardly ever shoot it so don't know if I have much of a need for it right now as all I can really afford to shoot is my .22.
It has a few scratches and one small ding in the wood. It was used to hunt with but all in all not in bad shape. The bluing is pretty decent. It has one spot on the receiver about the size of a nickel that just is a little rough feeling but has bluing still. Not sure what happened. You don't see it unless you are really close but you can slightly feel it if you run your finger over it. The bluing is also worn off on the end of the barrel like it's sat with the end of the barrel touching something for a while or riding in a vehicle or something like this. I haven't seen many guns that aren't like this though.
All in all I'm super picky about stuff like that so that's why I pointed out all of those flaws. I'd honestly say this thing is in probably 96-98% condition. It's not perfect but it's not in bad shape either. You can tell it's been hunted with but it's not just beat to hell like some guys hunting guns are either.
What's this thing worth? I have 3 boxes of Federal Soft Points I could throw in.
