I ordered some .44 revolver bullets from them nearly a month ago. After 2 weeks I e-mailed them to let them know I hadn't received them yet. They replied and said they sould have gotten to me and they would look into it. That was 2 weeks ago and I have e-mailed them since but no response. They took good care of me the first time I placed an order but I'm baffled by this lack of response and I'm starting to get a little cranky about it. If any posters here know if they are having computer trouble or something please reply so I don't stew needlessly. Otherwise tell them to get my dang bullets to me.

Thanks

Donny

Don (N. I assume?),

This is Thomas - I've e-mailed you a few different times, so I'm a bit surprised at this. Both you and one other customer haven't received e-mails I've sent, but all others have.

The bullets did indeed ship out, but I see they didn't get there. We'll be shipping out two more boxes to you of the 190 grain bullets tomorrow. Sorry for the delay!

Thirdrail,

Thanks for the reply I kind of figured it was some sort of dang computer problem as you folks were very responsive the last time. I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt thats why I figured I should post here before I got mad. I apologize for any short tone, I just thought I might be gettin ignored when my e-mails wern't gettin responses. Glad to hear it was technology at fault. Should I be lookin for the brown truck or the red white and blue one?

Thanks Again,

Donny

Don, we'll send it out by USPS, as most of our packages go out with them. They've lost less than UPS, FedEx, and DHL, if you can believe that.

Just a hint, check your spam folder...
And the filter settings.
For some reason I have to tell my e-mail (Yahoo) every week that my bank is not a spammer.

My non-yahoo account rejects return e-mails at random too. It's just one of the things that happens.

Howdy!

Gotta call from tha BOSS askin what tha hells up with things i sent. Lookin fer tha papers now sos i's can track em, but i DID send everthin i's spossed to!

Tha post office in rushville aint no good, BOSS saya might as well jus throw tha boxes in tha trash fer all tha good it does from there Bout half jus goes someplace else an no one knows where.

Gots more chores i'll check back an give yall an update.

Don,

Per your e-mail, I note that the bullets still haven't arrived. I'm quite fed up with USPS now - we'll give it until Saturday to arrive, then re-send Monday by UPS or FedEx.

Thanks for your patience!

I talked to Jule - he should be sending it out Monday, since he made another one for you.

We're so damn tired of USPS at this point it's not even amusing. We'll be doing insured mail on EVERYTHING sent out, along with delivery confirmation unless otherwise specified. It's worth the extra few dollars a package to make sure things get there instead of having these problems every again.

Again - everyone, thank you for your patience and understanding. :)

Hi TR...

You don't have to feel like the Lone Ranger, TR.

I shipped 6 smallish, easy, well-packaged boxes to Florida. Two of them didn't make it at all. Three of the ones that did were tremendously damaged and the other one was moderately damaged. :cuss:
Have had three packages arrive here that were absurdly damaged and two that were shipped more than a month ago and are nowhere to be found.:banghead:
Don't know what's with the USPS in the passed couple months but it's ridiculous. :cuss:

Yeesh! I thought it was just the smaller post offices that were having such trouble... has quality of service really gone downhill that far in the past few months?? :what:

I thought that the post office subcontracts with Fedex, at least for Priority Mail anyway. Before a Fedex plane departs, the Priority Mail is then loaded provided there's room after the Fedex packages have been loaded, and then maybe the rest of the mail does too, again providing there's room. That's the reason why Priority Mail has that name, it's given priority. ;) I'm not totally sure how it all works, but the USPS doesn't own planes, and the Fedex planes probably wouldn't be full of cargo otherwise. :D

I've never had a bit of problem with the post office but people who mail more stuff do. One guy I know mailed some stuff he had sold on e-bay (license plate validation stickers of all things.) and somebody at the local po stole them.

I've had a lot of problems with USPS too. Before Halloween, I sold off 23 costumes on ebay. 2 never arrived, several arrived damaged, but luckily, costumes being flexible, were still useable. I was disheartened. Some years back I did a lot of sales through Ebay and used Priority Mail for my smaller items and was really pleased at the time. Back then it was UPS that gave us fits.

Hi TR...

I was sending and receiving from the P.O. in Hillsboro, Ohio which is... er.... quaint, to be kind. But also was sending to a very rural P.O. in central Florida - so rural the window is open only 2 hrs/day weekdays and three hours on Saturday.
I, too, used to send/receive a lot of small items due to eBay and the USPS Priority was great. Only in the passed 4-5 months has it seem to have imploded. :fire:

Problems with Bigiron.

Bigiron has had some rough luck this last few months. They had flood damage to deal with in Sept., after all of that rain. Then, both Jule and Thom came down with serious illnesses.

Things are getting back on track, so hang in there, and they will take care of you. Jule is saying that all work will be completed by year's end. Go to their forum for more info.

Patience, grasshopper.
