Have they merged ? . Just got my American Rifleman and there is an ad for "Taurus Circuit Judge" manufactured exclusively for Rossi:confused:

it said in the article 2 years ago;)... I sure do like the looks of that there Ranch Hand...might just have to get me one of them:what:

Stay away in my opinion at least away from their revolvers and customer service I can't comment on any of their other products. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=521748 A lot of people love them and have had great luck but that wasn't my experience. :)
+2
I had one Taurus, brand new defective. It went back to Taurus, when it came back to my dealer it was his. I will never own another Taurus.

Well

Had a Ruger that needed work...got it fixed and bought another...
Own 2 Taurus autos and bought both used..have put hundreds of rounds through them with zero isues.
Go figure!!

Taurus bought Rossi a while back. I have a Taurus 24/7 Pro 45 ACP, a Taurus 357 stainless revolver 4" barrel, and a Rossi 38 5 shot snub nose. No problems with any of them and I shoot them all regularly. The 24/7 Pro has some FTF prblems when new, but I sent it back under warranty and it came back 3 weeks later performing just fine. I know that a lot of people seem to look down on Taurus but I have had very good luck with them. My next purxhase will be a PT99 - 9mm. I rented one and it seems like a great gun.

All my experiences with Taurus & Rossi are from the ancient past -- 25-30 years ago. I've got a SS Taurus .22 revolver and a .38 revolver with target sights, etc. both have EXTREMELY reliable although the .22 doesn't shoot as accurately as the .38. I've also got a little 5-shot Rossi .38 that's always nearby. Likewise reliable & as accurate as a 3" barrel can be.

Just my .02

Original question answered adequately.

Closing this as it is turning into yet another in our rather encyclopedic collection of Taurus & Rossi bashing threads.
