Ummm... It's my old AOL IM screen name from when I was in middle school.

My uncle always called me Hank the Tank ever since I was born. (I'm a big 'ol boy)

I changed "the" to "da" so I could be totally dizzown with mah hizzomies:neener:

1362 - last four digits of my phone number (actually my parent's house, cause I've long since moved out)

My handle at TFL, hksigwalther. Got tired of typing it out all the time.

ptmmatssc = paulie the mystery man and the super sleuth cavalcade

Was trying to figure out a screen name and a friend just blurted it out and it stuck .

A rather obscure nickname for Richard. I also kind of liked the movie of the same name starring Paul Newman.
And...., before anyone has a chance to point it out, I am fully aware that "Hud" spelled backward is "Duh". I get that every time I look in the mirror.:D

I got tired of trying to come up with clever names for the different gun forums so I just used my initials. I also think this is my first post here and when I went to log in I forgot my screen name! How is that for irony?

I've answered this before. I like the image of a single legionnaire, one of many who together made up the Roman legions. I thought of "Praetorian," but that sounded too pompous; I prefer the stolid image of the Roman foot soldier. However, I must confess that I never served in the armed forces, so no reference to the American Legion.

Welcome to THR, AWP!

HSO stands for Health and Safety Officer and is a job I've done for nearly 15 years. The HSO is the person on a hazardous waste site project responsible for the safety of the crew. We're often the first in and the last out to make certain, as "certain" as you can be when you're not always certain what's there, that we know what the hazards are and how to control them so the work can get completed without incident. I've run safety on sites with radiological, chemical, biological, structural and EOD hazards. Usually with 3 of the 5,but sometimes with 4 of the 5. Makes for a boring life.;)

I have been a mechanic my whole life, and friends were always asking me for help when I went out, they would want me to jump their car, or listen to it, or something. I discovered one evening after a wedding (not mine) that a tie was a good excuse not to work on someones car. I Have been wearing a tie almost all the time, ever since. Tieman to my friends, so when I got on the net a "Ks" in front of it tells people where I am from.

fishy

stars and stripers is the name of our boat. we named our boat this as a patriotic tribute to one of our favorite fish, the striped bass (striper). nothing to do with shooting really, but i belong to many fishing forums and like to keep the names consistant.
