I am currently haggleing on a winchester 94 buffalo bill commemerative 30-30. It's in very used condition so little collector value but I wanted a 94. My question is what am I missing?

Ooh, you need
M-1 garand
M-1 carbine
M-1A
a nice bolter in tactical guise, like a savage 110T
and, like as not, a good "mountain" bolter with a nice tapered barrel in a handy caliber like 243, 270, or 7mm

Be careful, it also looks like you need at least two ARs if not other version of EBR. An M-4-like variant would be nice with a 20-22" variant.

I'm kinda cheap so ar's are probably out, but I was looking at a savage 110 in .270 the other day.

Definitely an M1 Garand. Get your CMP qualification, get one while you can.

i noticed you don't have a single smith revolver on your list. say...mod 19, 36, 66, 686? or go whole hog and get a 629.

I don't know, you seem to have the bases pretty well covered right now. I would say save up if you really want an AR; or maybe an AK for ammo compatability with your SKS. Other than that I would say maybe something in a .44 or .45 caliber DA or SA revolver would round out collection nicely.
