What do you guys used for Range Bags? I am using a make-shift medical bag made my lifetimer at this moment. I would like to use something more made for the range.

I hope to be giving iShot bags a try very soon. They are sold out right now but I hear that they are going to have a new shipment come in this week!

I have an iShot bag. That thing is pretty sweet. No Velcro anywhere. It's hard to judge by the photos on the website but at $50 for the large bag, I'd say the value is about right. Maybe a little on the overpriced side, but I'm not complaining.

Believe it or not, I use an old diaper bag. It's dark green canvas, has lots of pockets and compartments, and was cheap because it was not intended for gun use. :neener:

I went to the hardware store and got a heavy duty contractors bag. It is dark green with a super duty zipper.

On the inside there are about a dozen deep pockets all around.
I use them for hoppes magazines ear plugs, rem oil, stripper clips
and screwdrivers theres plenty of room in the middle for hearing protectors and boxes of ammo lay flat on the reinforced bottom.
I lay the holstered guns on top and the bag mouth clamps down securely when zipped so the contents don't slide around.

The handles are heavy gauge nylon quaduple stiched with ring laynard loops to attach a sling or carry strp is desired

The outside has 6 pockets that fit a soda perfectly as well as a cell phone snacks and sunscreen. on either end I clipped the string seperating the pocket mouth and I can fit about 500 .45acp brass in either end without fear of it falling out.

It is made by Mcguire Nicholas workwear and it is sold at home dept and lowes for about $16 bucks

i use a bill dance tackle bag...

had it laying around where i just got a new box, so i figured why not... it's got 3 large pockets onthe outside for earplugs & glasses, cleaning supplies & brass, and some tools.....

i can carry 3 cased pistols with no problem, so looks like i've got this one for a while, best part was it was only 6bux... at where else.... WMSC (walmartsupercenter)

I use a salesman's nylon catalog case from Office Depot. Big top loading compartment, file-folder section in the back holds targets, accessory pockets hold mags and stuff. $40 and it works great.

I went to Walmart and got the biggest toolbgox I could find. It was only $10 and has metal clasps. I can fit most everythign I need in that box. It has tons of room and also has lots of little compartments.

I'll second that motion for "Green River." My wife and I (along with most of the serious shooters in our club) use the "original" range bag.

Nice to have places for everything in one tough bag...makes it much easier to throw just one piece of luggage (so to speak) in the truck and head to a match.

Next time you are at your favorite office supply store take a look at an Argus laptop computer bag.

They have different sizes and varieties but for 30 to 50 bucks (less on sale) they work great.

Three votes for the Green Mountain. I had a knockoff by Action Direct that after about a year was starting to fall apart. The Green Mountain is still in great condition after more than two years.
