What's the cheapest knife you've ever bought brand new?

A $10 butterfly knife I got my son from a gas station. Just something for him to learn with.

I have a set of Wiha torx bits and the bits don't fit the cheap Tac-Force knife I had purchased. I am positive that the torx screw heads used in the Tac-Force are off, they just aren't quality precision made parts.

My Dollar Tree sells cheap lock back and multi-tool knives for $1. I haven't gotten the tool yet but have the folding knife clipped to the top edge of my work bench. For doing those jobs where you need an edged tool but don't care about the edge. Like during scraping or cutting sandpaper.

Any pictures of these dollar keychain knives?

Never been much a fan of a knife on a keychain as I feel they'd be too small to be of use, but too big would be pain to carry around. I am a fan of keychain lights however.

I looked in my miscellaneous junk bin,,,
I don't have any of them left.

It was a slim folder with locking blade and plastic stocks,,,
Like I said they weren't much of a knife really,,,
Blade under 2" in length and cheap steel.

I saw a whole drawer full of them at The Evil Pawn Shop,,,
For one Dollar I thought how bad could they be.

I did put a very sharp edge on each of them though,,,
Probably wouldn't hold that edge for very long,,,
But they were meant as an emergency thing.

The intent was for them to have it already opened as they walked to their car,,,
That strategy did work well for that one young lady.

According to the restaurant manager,,,
The attacker looked like he had tangled with a mountain lion.

Folders: Opinel or Mora in modern (since I’ve known better) times. In my whole life probably a $5 Parker or Frost that has long since been lost or broken.

Fixed: I bought several Victorinox red handled paring knives at a gun show about 10 years ago for $3 each. We use them for our everyday kitchen and dinner knives. You can zip thru a steak with one like it’s a laser beam.
