The Keseru VZD was made between 1991-2003. The Hungarian law was, that if the muzzle energy is under 7,5 J (a normal air rifle) the gun is free of any licence.
No matter of the caliber..so the 9 mm Flobert version existed with muzzle velocity so low, that you could see the bullet in the air.
The people bought these toys for gun-substitute although these were useless for selfdefence at all, but even their loud bang served as intimidating factor.
The 4 mm and 6 mm versions were capable of plinking beer cans from 4-5 meters.
From this september we have a new law in effect. So these toys are no more free to buy.
But we have much better, and really effective choices for non-lethal selfdefence and plinking today.
