Whats the deal on the new Bersa .380?

Right now, looks like the distributors can't keep up with the demand. We
talked with several distributors yesterday (3-11-05), and NONE had either
Bersa .380 model in stock. I sold our last two the same day (3-11), and
we are looking too buy 12 more!

Looks like a winner for someone who wants an inexpensive smaller .380. I bet it is going to be much more reliable and durable than the Kel-Tec P3AT which is hit or miss at best!
Does anyone know if they take the same mags? It looks shorter but maybe it is just the base plate that has been effected.
For those that don't require the extreme light weight and compact size of a KT sized gun, this should be a much better product. I can see this taking a small chunk of the market share away from the snubbie market as well. I am sure they will continue to sell the full sized versions for those that prefer them since that is the life blood of the company but this new addition should sell well. I can see Bersa owners adding this to the stable as well as bring in some new customers. I think the word is out on how good these little guns are and the days of being able to buy them dirt cheap on the used market may be long gone.

bersa is a great little pistol and Iam sure this on will be just as good. I already want one.
