What's the most crazy thing you've ever done with spent brass?

I haven't yet, but I am in the drawing stages of making a Wall Clock using spent brass in various calibers in place of numbers. Just not sure how I am going to lay it out. I am planning on making two, one with pistol calibers and the other with rifle calibers.

Back when I smoked, I used the AFCAP of a M1A1 Abrams main gun 120mm round as an ashtray. In fact it's still the garage somewhere with the 120mm HEAT Round and the APFSDS (Sabot) long rod penetrator, I, uhhm *found* on the Baumholder MTA.

9th hole of Rolling Hills Golf Course in Baumholder has a "bell" made from a 105mm casing. You "ring" it to let the group behind you that's up on the tee know that you're off the green.

At the moment I'm making a wind chime out of a dillon shell plate, some 32 acp brass, and some 41 mag brass that split the walls out. Split straightwall cases make dandy little bells.

Mixed 2 bushels of empties in the concrete floor of my old shop then gave it a brush finish so they showed through. Looked fantastic, slicker than a snotty door knob. Buttons from shotshell bases, a multitude of ashtrays
Sometimes make inlays out of them, put them in the bottom of the forearm liket the old Marlin Dot. That wawy you can see what cal it is while it's in teh cabinet.
