Im just curious why are LEO mags cheaper than the mags for us cilvians? Im not talking about the pre ban hi cap mags but the standard 10 round PC mags?
I would assume with the theory of supply and demand the regular 10 round mags would be cheaper...but they are like 2-3 times more expensive???:banghead:

Id need an example of your situation. From what Ive seen......its not that way.

Hi Caps are very available to the public from CDNN, CTD.....guns shows etc for reasonable prices.

LEO only mags like Glock, Sigs etc..........are usually UNGODLY expensive where I can rarely find them

10 rnd mags for most guns.....OEM's or good after markets, MecGar etc...
are very very reasonable.........

This is just a typical situation from my experience and isnt the rule.

Shoot well.

I thought LEOs could buy the LEO Glock mags for abotu $15 each... could be wrong though.

If this is true, it's probably more an example for the company being PC for it's LEO client base.

Actually, I don't have a problem with it. An LEO can buy a Glock for less than I can. I see no difference in the mags. The lined mags only cost like $6 to make and ship. Everything else is just profit. It's more an effect of the ban than of a company practice.

Actually CDNN sells allot of their LE Mags for for an amazingly low price. I am a big Steyr guy so I looked at the price of the Steyr LE mags. They are on $9.99, now look at the regular mags and they are $24.95!!! I think this all boils down to supply and demand. There are such small number of qualified individuals who can own LE mags they have to bring the price way down to actually move them out the door. They have Ruger p91 mags for $6.99 but the 10 rounders are over $10.

I guess that is just how it goes. Good old Econ 101 taught me all I needed to know about this stuff. I wish I could remember how to graph that out.
