What's Your Pick for POCKET CARRY??

G42 is huge. Not a pocket pistol if you wear normal jeans. Maybe with slash cut pockets.
G42 is a subcompact full of fail.

Same size as my G26 which pocket carries just fine as does the G42 with Levis 505 Relaxed fit or Dockers....do you own a G42 or just bashing cause it's not a single stack 9mm? My G42 fits in a pocket just fine but then I dress for pocket carry and have...big pockets.

Our G42 is no where near a failure and might be the best gun my Wife ever shot for her. She can get it in a pocket as well albeit a coat pocket :D

Borrowed a g26 once.
Didn't fit. Had a PT709 too. No dice.

I don't like Glock. Bad triggers, clunky, don't fit my hands well. Sure they are quality, reliable guns. Not bashing by stating my opinion.

Guess you don't wear Wranglers? Fubu maybe?

Ruger LCP is a great little pistol. Much smaller than a J frame, more ammo and faster reloads. My next pocket pistol is likely going to be a keltec p32, which is even smaller and carries an extra round.

Kahr PM9 and S&W j-frame are my one and two respectively.

The PM9 has been my-"go-to" pocket carry for the entirety of the same period.
J-frames and I have had a love/hate going on for 8-9 years...currently back to "love"...but...
Been through the K-Ts and the LCPs. BT, DT.

If you mean pant pocket, the lcp is my choice. I've carried others from time to time but it's by far the best.put it in desantis nemesis pocket holster and it's hard to read.

Rohrbaugh R9 in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster, and most of the time 5.11 Select Pistol Pouch:

When I was a LEO I carried a J-frame as BUG in a sturdy pocket holster made by a local guy -- most carried theirs in an ankle holster. The BUG had to be able to chamber .38Spl because our issued revolver, a S&W Model 15 chambered it.

I carried the J-frame as a New York reload because we were also required to used the issued dump pouches -- speed loaders were not authorized. I practiced and qualified with it regularly. Old habits die hard, so I continued to carry a J-frame, upgraded to a 640/.357, in a DeSantis Nemisis after I retired when I had the need for pocket carry.

Several years ago a friend/LEO sold me his G27. I got a Nemisis holster for it and I like it more, but every so often the 640 finds its way into my pocket. Like I said, old habits die hard! Anyone else have this affliction?

Interesting assessment. Got me to thinking....

Where and how are you carrying your .380 reload?

It might be interesting to do a comparison between a pocket DAO .380 and a J-frame.

Gun in pocket, reload carried as you normally do. Start with hand on gun. At signal, draw and fire until empty, reload, fire until empty. Target is an IPSC a 5 yds. C zone or better to score. No alibis! If the pocket gun jams, deal with it. Clock's running!

I use the case for an old USB stick for my reload. Keeps the mag clean and oriented in my offhand pocket. I wear cargo shorts, so my thigh pockets hold my stuff, meaning my hip pockets are free for pistol and ammo.

A lot of people poo-poo the .32ACP (some sort of size fetish, I suspect), but my favorite for pocket-carry is my Česká zbrojovka vz.70. Walnut Marschal grips, a Robert Mika pocket holster, and carried with MagTech Guardian Gold JHPs.

I carry a G26 in a Raven Concealment Vanguard holster or a Mika pocket holster, depending on my attire. The G26 is the smallest pistol that I can comfortably shoot (though admittedly there are a bunch that I have not tried). The Raven Concealment Vanguard holster is basically a trigger guard cover that I attach to my belt with a 550 cord lanyard. When I punch out with the G26, the holster comes off.
