Whee got a RIA 1911 Govt

I picked up a new Rock Island Armory 1911 Govt full size today. Got it all cleaned and lubed up. This is my first 1911 variant so I really don't know what to expect out of these guns. So far it seems to be a pretty nice gun for the price. $275 from SOG is what I paid for it.

Can't wait to get it out to the range to try it out. This is going to be my beater gun. Gonna feed it lots of juicy Wolf ammo.

Congrats on the purchase. Me and many other RIA owners are very pleased with the performance. I consider it more a 1911 clone than a variant. Happy shooting!

Congratulations.....My 5" RIA has proven totally reliable and shoots to POA. I rewarded it with a Jacobson drop-in trigger job and cmc grips. End result: it's a better shooter than my Kimber!!??!!
