I bought these bullets a while ago-thinking I would be able to use them and didn't want to pass up the deal. I was thinking I could use them for a .454 casull load but I am now not sure as everything I find for 45LC and casull is .451 and these are .452. Is it possible to use them in .460s&w? Did I buy a white elephant? Please help

If you want to use them only load them to 45 Colt levels. They weren't designed for the pressures of the 454. If you want to use the XTP in your 454 get the Mag XTP's instead.

Loaded to Colt levels, possibly even Ruger only if you work up slow, they should shoot very well in either the 45 Colt or the 454 at the lower pressures.

re: my question

Thanks for the info. I am fairly new to reloading-been forced to learn and do as factory ammo is through the roof and I like to shoot large calibers.

Not a problem, and your not alone in being new. This whole shortage thing has brought tons of folks who never loaded their own before into the realm of being a bit more self sufficient.
