I've been buying most of my ammo on cheaperthandirt.com (partly because I'm a member there), and have been quite staisfied. Recently, I ordered a bathrobe from sportsmansguide.com, and I'm quite happy with that purchase as well. $20, much less than the $50-$75 from LL Bean. I'm still waiting on the $15 bathrobe (German Mil-surp) from sportsmansguide.

At any rate, which is your favorite on-line store for gun-related gear?

The one I have ordered the most from is Midway USA. I get a discount with my C&R FFL, which usually makes up for the shipping and a little bit more (depending on what I buy).

Mostly reloading components and supplies (except powder and primers). Usually from MidwayUSA, Midsouth, and Cabela's.

You bought a mil-surp bathrobe?

...Don't forget to let us know how the cosmoline removal goes!
I also hope it's non-corrosive :uhoh:

If I buy ammo online, I usually go to Ammoman. For milsurp-type stuff, makarov.com or Aim Surplus. For general parts/accessories, Midway.

More and more,I buy online.Lately.I've changed my thinking.
I bought 3 pairs of Levis 501(shrink to fit) from a local
store that I sometimes shop at.Washed and dried them and
realized that I bought the wrong size!:banghead:
Took'em back to see if I could sell them at a loss.
They exchanged them for the right size,no charge!:D
Living in California,I'll still buy ammo online, but not Levis!

Most often-
I/we email my/our GunPersons and let them order via online or fax.
This allows them to get an order up and reduce shipping, or qualify for any discounts.
Midway, Brownells, Natchez, Caspian, Wil Shuemann, are a few names I recall.

Non-gun stuff, LLBean and I go w-a-y back.

Check out that "Ice cream ball", that thing is a hoot and great for kids. :)

So far I've bought just reloading equipment off MidwayUSA, but I get components at the local fun store. Bought some Ruger swag off their (Ruger's) website a couple of years ago too, but that's about it.
Speaking of swag, y'all are gonna get a kick out of this (it was in response to a term seen in this screed). It was created by this guy.

Thanks, gents--

It looks like we're shopping at more-or-less the same places. I keep cheaperthandirt, sportsmansguide, midway, and midsouth in my favorites list, and look at them almost daily. llbean was a favorite of mine, but their prices have just gotten too high. They seem to be competing with the likes of sharperimage and landsend for overpriced things. I find the shooter-oriented suppliers to be much better.

BTW, the German mil-surp bathrobe from shootersguide is supposed to be new and unissued, so I'm not expecting to have to be cleaning any cosmoline off of it! LOL!!!
