Where are reloading components available (Not a Discussion Thread)

Went to the gun show in Savannah today. Between about four different vendors there was a decent assortment of powder and a fair assortment of primers. I picked up H335, H110 and 4064. I saw a lot of Bullseye and other assorted Alliant powders and a few other IMR powders. Powders were all priced $25-30/lb and CCI primers $35-40 with CCI mil spec primers at $42.99.
I don't really need anything now, but I'll continue to pick up a few pounds at a time of my big three in anticipation of things to come.

Midsouth Shooters has AA #5, #7 in 1 and 8 lbs. 1 lb. in #9. Power Pistol, 1 & 4 lb. 1 lb. in Zip and Silhouette.

3 hours later and I still got some hp38! This has got to mean the supply is loosening! Thanks for the heads up!
You're all welcome! Just looked again, it went out of stock within the last 1/2 hour.

bocefus76, I think you may be right. Especially after the thread on the possible death of HP-38/W231.

I really didn't need 8 lbs., as with this order, I will be really stocked up on pistol powder for several years worth.

16 pounds of Ramshot Silhouette on the way from Powder Valley :)

Never used it before as I have been using Unique exclusively for 9mm since I began reloading, however, Silhouette appears to be a good choice for many different flavors of 9mm bullets.

I hope I have made a good choice.

Silhouette has been a good all around powder for me. Plated, jacketed, and lead. And meters well.

In case you hadn't seen, Western Powders has .pdf files for their powders. They even have +P files for 9mm and 45 Auto.

I, for one, think you will be content with your order.

I would have bought 8 of Zip and 8 of Silhouette, but I agree, you'll likely be happy with Silhouette. 16 pounds should hold you for a while. :)

I have some Zip that I have not tried yet. I've heard good things about it. I also have some Nitro 100NF that I picked up at a gun show, and initial ladder loads in 45acp I did look really promising. So far I have been pleased with all the Accurate and Ramshot powders I have tried.

I stopped in at the Cabela's on the north side of Fort Worth Texas, they had tons of unique in 1 pound cans for $25 and they had a lot of other powders too. It looks like things are getting better. Has anyone else noticed this?

Sweet. I'm going to stop by there today. Did you happen to notice if they had any AA 5 or 7?

Can't remember what they have besides the unique. I know they did not have bull's-eye, unique was the only one they had that I was looking for, but they had a lot of different kinds of powder. The last time I was in there they only had a couple of jugs and it was all rifle.

I don't think any of us on this forum need to be reminded but if history repeats itself we're soon to be in the midst of another round of frenzied buying and depending on how the political situation develops, it may again turn into hoarding. Right now it seems like powder is more available than it has been in a few years. I'm stocking up on all components but not hoarding. This past week, Recob's had H110, H335 and IMR4064 in both 1lb and 8lb jugs and at good prices and at the Savannah gun show last weekend there was more powder than I've seen in quite a while.
Also, check Monmouth Reloading for projectiles. They have the best prices I've seen anywhere on Hornady 55gr & 150gr FMJBT

I actually sold off some excess powder as I found Vihtavouri N320 back
in the supply chain and got a couple 4 pounders to go with a little Bullseye
W231, WST and WSF. I also have a little Unique. primers, bullets, brass
are A-OK.

Let then election cycle begin, I'll be good to go.

Yeah, I have a decent stock of Power Pistol, BE-86, Bullseye, and Titegroup now. I also have 32 different pistol powders to play with and work up more loads. Heck, I could probably do nothing but work up ladder loads for the next 8 years. :D I just need to stock up on more projectiles at this point.

I think the first thing to disappear were primers. When primers started coming back, then powder became hard to find. I don't remember projectiles being that hard to find, though.
