Just got off the phone with Cabela's customer service and they were not able to verify whether the LR primer sold by Cabela's is 5,3 LR (V361612 Boxer/0.63) or 5,3 LR-SE (V360542 Boxer/0.70) based on information printed on the primer box or the documentation they have from the manufacturer.

According to Sellier & Bellot Products/Components page Usage Guide, 5,3 LR-SE primer is listed for .308 Winchester - http://www.sellierbellot.us/index.php/download_file/view/675/163/

Cabela's representative I talked to was helpful and he will be contacting Sellier & Bellot for verification. I will wait for verification from Cabela's before using S&B LR primers for .308 Winchester.

So far the S&B amall pistol primer appeared to be slightly milder than Fed, CCI, or Win SP primers. Accuracy in the two proven loads I tried them in appears to be just as good, with velocity slightly less. A load that dribbled out of my Colt with the three previous primers had brass getting caught from time to time, and the cases had more stain from powder burn. They seem to be good to go, just slightly milder. Nothing .1 or .2 Grs additional powder couldn't fix. At $20 per K, they are the best deal going right now. I also bought 10K of the CCI 500s in the strips when Midway was closing them out at $20 per K. I did not buy as many S&B, because I hadn't tried them before. I still haven't tried the LP or SR ones I bought when I bought the SP. All in good time. :)

But on a serious note: I can't believe these prices. Not just this site but everywhere. I'm all about taking advantage of a sale to stack it deep but today's prices are unreal. And a little worrisome. Somewhat concerned for the industry. With my lower and that link I would have an AR for under $300 OTD. Oh well, the pendulum swings and the free market marches on.

Also on that site is a 20" 6.5 Grendel upper for $259 with an additional $99 add on for a BCG. Would like to shoot moa at four hundred yards. Anyone know anything about this company and/or this upper. Would like the adventure of loading for a new caliber. A few positive replies about this upper and I'll add it to the safe with the rest of the incomplete projects I have in there. :) Any help to push me over the edge would be appreciated.
