The mom & pop place I was in yesterday afternoon had 2 500 count boxes of the Speer lead 125gr .356 plinkers for $49/box. They had some 110gr .357 lead in 500 counts for about the same price. And some .451's...nothing jacketed or plated in handgun bullets. Still had CCI 450's, 500's, and 550's as of around 5:30 PM yesterday. If any of you are near Springboro Ohio or nearby enough to drive there. It's in the Dayton area.

CCI #34 Large Rifle Military 1000 count in stock. Not sure if it's no limit. Worth a shot, no puns. Hazmat seems steep but if you need them you need them.

General update:

Midway has a lot of powders available. I just got

Hodgdon CFE Pistol Smokeless Gun Powder 1 lb

Winchester WSF Smokeless Gun Powder 1 lb

Winchester WinClean 244 Smokeless Gun Powder 1 lb

They have Titegroup 4lb and above too.

I am gonna experiment. I emailed Hodgdon regarding non-temperature sensitive Pistol powders because summer temps here are extreme. They told me 244 and CFE are as advanced as it gets, it's worth testing. Midway has free shipping over $50, Hazmat fee $12, that made me buy.

Also, Cabelas had Varget 1/2 hour ago.

If I am reading correctly, Cabelas has been accepting and then cancelling a lot of orders. Just ordered some Varget, which is about the only thing I was short on owing to its scarcity even before the panic. Will be interesting to see if I get it or not.

I can show you pages of cancelled orders after I received the order confirmation and my credit card was charged. For a national chain, Cabelas need to do a serious upgrade on their eCommerce system. I can bet with certainty that if I order primers or powder from other major vendors and I get an order confirmation, the order will be delivered.

The frustrating thing is that Cabelas will cancel an order for 5k primers or 8lbs of powder and say the reason was because the item is out of stock only to have it back up for sale the next day. I experienced this with Winchester small pistol primers all last week. Other times, 5k of primers will be ordered and I will receive a notice that the shipment is delayed, but not cancelled.

If you are ordering 1k-2k of primers (especially the less popular stuff like Remington) or 1-2 lbs of powder, the order seems to process. Anything more than that, good luck.

That's Awesome to hear! I ordered 5k of the Hornady 224. 62gr BTHP when Jake had them in stock. They shipped within a week after the order was placed.

Jake runs a great company and their in-house bullets are among the best out there. If you have the time, I would never hesitate to place an order with Jake.

So about a 7 week delay. I'm still waiting on the ones I ordered Aug 25th.
