I make a lot of purchases at KYGunCo. they are about an hour from me, are a reputable business and do alot of work with the local LEO out there. I was in there on Friday and their selection is starting to pick up again. Finally.

If anybody sees any Ramshot Enforcer or AA 4100 in stock, please let me know. They will have to have something else I could use in stock as well to spread out the hazmat.

bds, you sure have cost me a lot of money! :) But I saved some by putting 2500 Montana gold 40's in my shopping then going to eat with my Mother. They sold out while I was eating.

Attention!

Due to extremely high demand for smokeless powder, shipping times have been extended. PLEASE NOTE: Powder ships separately approximately 16 weeks after order is placed.
Sigh.........

Well that must mean they have been getting in a lot of powder if they're that far backlogged.
I am sure it is because they have Powder Valley drop-ship all their powder.

In another thread, in reply to a a members question, PVI said they were only only getting about 10--20% of the quantities of powders they are ordering from the different manufacturers, and almost NONE from Vihtavuori.

Vihautori was said to be having issues (.gov) or something along the works. Can't find the link (on phone) but it said something along the line of it being sold.

Thank you bds,

I ordered powder (Promo, Herco, American Select, Green Dot) from Third Generation Shooting Supply on May 6 and it arrived today (May 13). I ordered after reading your post #642 in this thread. I had not heard of this company before. I have about 2-3 months worth of primers, hopefully I'll increase that stash soon.

Stopped by the local Cabela's to pick up my .223 dies and shellplate, and found some Longshot and HP-38. No primers in sight. I thought the guy was going to start laughing at me for asking...he had a big smile on his face, anyway :)

A reloading supplies retail company I know in Austin Texas is starting to gear up their shipping dept again for powders and primer sales. It looks like what they don't have in stock now will all be in stock ready for shipping starting in a couple weeks. Good news indeed. Perhaps we're starting to pull out of the reloading supply shortage.

Ordered .45 230gr RN "seconds" from Rock Mountain two weeks ago and got them on Friday. They all appear to be flawless and have zero blemishes. Very satisfied.

I like optimism too.:D

When PVI and some others start to show most (or even half) powder/primer stock available, life will again be good.:uhoh:
