I was lucky enough to score 10 lbs of HP38 just a couple of hours ago, crazy how fast it goes!
No doubt. I checked the price of W231 vs. HP-38 and then the 231 was gone. My order for an 8 pounder of the Hodgdon stuff seems to have went through though.

The deal was to buy it in 8 lbs lots at $137. I paid $19. Per lbs in 1 lbs containers since the 8 lbs cans were gone. I have not seen any HP38 in so long, I'm not complaining, especially with my local source asking $50. A lbs.

Went to the local Cabelas yesterday to jump on one of their spring flyer deals, 300 rnds PMC .223 55gn fmj with dry box for $99, and they had sold out. Sale just started yesterday and the manager said they sold 75 units in the first few hours they were open. They called corporate and got one on order for me with free ship to store, so all good. But, before I left I walked by the powder isle just to see what they had and I was amazed to see they had 4 one pounders of HP-38. I know it has been showing up sporadically online lately, but it was nice to actually see it in person on a store shelf. Price was just OK at $22.99.

That's cheap for Cabela's. Everything I'm seeing at the Greenville Cabela's is $26 and up...AA5744 was $38/lb!

I found 2 lbs of 1680 at a Sportsmans Warehouse in Phoenix today. Snatched them up for $25.99 each. Gonna make the .300 AAC Blackout happy for the next few months.

Where does everyone get their bulk projectiles from? I can buy 500 JHP projectiles for like 69$ at Cabela's. Any other places to get them from in large quantities at a decent price?

+1 for RMR, I buy 90% of projectiles from them. Great guys. Just read the description before you buy. Some are pulled projectiles, some are seconds and new and 1st runs. I buy the seconds for pistol plinking and 62gr BTHP for the AR. Some of the 62 grain projectiles vary in shape slightly, so I had to find a happy median for the 2000 I picked up. COL would be between 2.243-2.259 with three slightly different projectiles. All weighed within a few 10ths.

Great place to make reloading cheaper without sacrificing too much quality

http://shop.rmrbullets.com/main.sc (the discount worked on my last order, last of dec or 1st of january cant member exactly)

ive use rmr a lot, i go there about everyday to see if they have deals in pulled bullets.
roze is pretty good but are out of a lot most of the time.
ive only gotten one order from PD of some of their samples but i like what i got. a little higher than roze but the weights seemed very consistant on the 3 calibers i ordered.

i seem to be more willing to pay a little more for a jacked vs a plated than i used to be. i dont know why but i seem to get more consistant accurate loads from the jacketed stuff.
