Where are the hottest gun deals on the web?

So far I've yet to find a really good deal on the web directly.

On what they have, CDNN seems to set the price to beat, but they don't list guns on their website, you have to download their catalog as a PDF file and phone in your order. Selection is limited, but service is great.

Most advertisers in Shotgun News don't keep their web sites very up to date compared to the ads, with the possible exception of JG Sales, Tapco and maybe a few others.

I got a very nice Star BM from JG Sales ordered from their web site and shipped to my FFL -- but after shipping and transfer fee its pretty easy to equal the price at a gun show with the advantage of getting to inspect it before buying.

Reserve prices on GunBroker.com are very easy to beat at gunshows for everything I've ever looked for.

I just bought a Sig P228 from CDNN. I'm very happy with the gun, but they charged $30 for shipping to my FFL. The three mags they included were Promags (I knew this going in), so I ended up buying a new Sig factory mag (Mec-Gar) for $30. Even if you factor in the shipping, extra mag and FFL transfre fee, it was still a good deal.

Aim Surplus usually has good prices also.

Thanks wally!

I usually download the CDNN catalog, but occasionally someone will mention places like SOG or KYimports that until that time I had never heard of before...
I just thought I'd try to get a good concise listing of where everyone has found good deals, and put it all in one place/one thread for future reference.

So, we've got
Southern Ohio Gun, KY Imports, JG Sales, CDNN Investments...
Others?

If you want the best deals, get a C&R FFL. Then send a copy to all the distributers with a note. Even if they don't generally sell C&R guns, they'll usually put you on their mailing list for their flyers. Find a 01 FFL to handle the transfers on your end and your set. And, if you find a C&R you want, you'll be even better off.

I get flyers from AIM, SOG, Century, J&G and a catalog from CDNN. They all have dealer prices listed. I use my C&R for C&R stuff and my local friendly 01 dealer for all others.

Btw, I rarely check the company web sites, but I do keep an eye on the various forums to see who has what deals. The good deals get announced by somebody.

Some of the best deals I've seen are right here among our brother/sisterhood, in the For Sale Forums... the nicest folks, too...

Steelharp-- I agree totally. The SP101 I bought from Eric/HBE/PCRCCW probably had $500 worth of 'smithing, tuning, etc. done to it, and he sold it to me at a price that you'd find at a pawn shop. Then, threw in holsters, speedloaders and such.

99% of the time, this forum IS your best bet, if someone is selling what you're looking for.
