is the proauto disk a digital scale? are they more accurate than beam scales?
No the pro auto is the powder measure that will sit on top of the powder/expanding die like this.

You will still need a scale. A decent beam scale will be fine. Once you find the right disk and cavity and test a few to make sure it is throwing the weight you want you will only need the scale to test one now and then to make sure nothing has changed. My pro auto disk has been very accurate. Once it is set where I want it it has never been off. I have been hearing a lot of good things about RCBS and Dillon beam scales.

very nice!
it looks like it's not as hard as it looks. i was under the impression that every charge would have to be measured individually.

The people at Southwest Ammo are some of the nicest people on the planet. I buy my primers and powder from them. They are very helpful and their prices are good. They really act like they want your business.
The "ABC's of Reloading" is the first book I bought and it was a big help. I pretty much self taught myself to reload by reading manuals (I have seven) and equipment instructions. I did pick the brains of people in the reloading forums as well.
Remember, any info you get off the internet should be backed up with a good manual.
Good luck and enjoy reloading.:)
