Hello all,

I'm trying to find a black leather speed loader holder (single), designed for 1.5 - 1.75 inch belts. The only leather ones I can find are for a duty belt (2.25). I bought a brown leather holder from Bianchi but it doesn't completely cover the rounds.

Any help would be appreciated.
Happy Holidays!

Here's a few that fit narrower belts and are available in black:

Safariland carries a great concealment type that puts 3 rounds inside the belt and three outside:

Here's a post on another site that has a list of just about every holster maker in business. Check the second page for a combined list:

I know of two more.

Galco and El Paso Saddlery. I don't use speed loaders (carry an auto) so I can't vouch for the quality of them. I'm happy with the other Galco items I have, though.

I ordered a DeSantis that defarriswheel listed, along with my holster for my 4" Redhawk in 41magnum. I really like the way it splits the belt between the rounds and hepls to prevent any rattle. It also tucks half the loader IWB which helps to conceal it. Here it is next to the holster.

Try http://www.pistoleer.com/hks/

This is the website for HKS Speedloaders; they carry both speedloaders and a variety of speedloader carriers (including single and double black leather). Carriers are available in a variety of materials (leather, cordura, or synthetic leather) and with a variety of closure options (exposed or hidden brass, nickel, or subdued black snaps; velcro).

They have most sizes/calibers for speedloaders and carrying cases (including 7-shot S&W revolver).

They advertise all their carriers as fitting 2.5" or narrower belts. I've had no problems with mine mounted on 1.75" nylon duty belts.

I have bought the synthetic leather ones (Dupont Hytrel) for several rigs including my .357's and
.41's. Very nice quality, don't absorb sweat, and extremely dificult to distinguish from real leather.

I have been very pleased with their products, prices and delivery.

Hope this helps...

Instead of round speed loaders have you tried Bianchi Speed Strips? They hold six in a line and are easier to conceal. Yes they are slower than speed loaders but are much easier to conceal. I believe you can get from Dillon Precision.

I was about to suggest Bianchi Speed Strips too. They are better for CCW but not as fast as speedloaders. You can buy a case to carry extra rounds which can carry speed strips too. Galco makes a GREAT 2X2X2 ammo carrier, tan is pictured on the site but it comes in black too. http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterA3.asp?ProductID=1724&CaliberID=219
Like I said, you can carry rounds in this case or use Bainchi speed strips with this case, or forget about the case and just carry the speed strips in your pocket. They are flat and disappear in almost any pocket.
