Where can I find this AR barrel?

Hello all,
I'm building my first AR-15, and I've got the lower fully built, the upper receiver ready to attach a barrel, and all the tools needed to do that... My problem is I can't find a barrel anywhere online (that I can find, at least) that fits my "wishlist" of specs:

- 16" w/pre-ban~threaded muzzle
- Mid-length gas system
- F-marked A2-style FSB
- 5.56 chrome-lined chamber and bore
- 1x9 twist
- prefer lightened profile of any type, wouldn't fuss if I found an HBAR with the above specs...

Now, my question to you all: does this barrel exist in any retail stock anywhere? I've been looking for weeks, and my AR minus barrel looks really sad...

Steve at www.adcofirearms.com could set you up with an RRA chromelined midlength, turned down to a Govt. profile (light under the handguards). However it doesn't have the F height sight block.

I have one of those barrels and I love it. Very light, handy and accurate. The front sight height is an overblown issue. Mine adjusts just fine. If you needed it, Bushmaster has taller front sight posts. I doubt you'd need it though.

www.CMMGinc.com has the same spec barrel with an optional F height sight block, but it's a 1/7 twist. I have one of those too (without the F height sight block). It's a good barrel, but doesn't shoot 55gr. very well (as to be expected due to the fast twist).

Thanks for the reply; the Adco barrel sounds perfect! I looked on the website and it said they were out of stock on their midlength barrels (that were chrome-lined, at least), so I wrote them an email asking so. Are there any other places online that anyone can think of that would offer this or a similar barrel, along with turning/lathe services to reduce the barrel under the handguards?

Sounds like an Armalite middie B15A2C would be close to perfect.

Well, if you were willing to go with a 1/7 twist, you can find several manufacturers offering those barrels. I think Sabre Defence may offer a 1/9 barrel that meets those specs though.
