Where do you get your .41 Mag components?

Point me in the direction oh great reloaders.

Brass and bullets. Less expensive is always good too...

I bought my first 500 new .41 Magnum brass from Starline and have been very happy with them.

Midway had a sale on Remington 210 grain SJHPs several years ago and I stocked up there.

I was also lucky enough to get a bunch of brass, speedloaders and LSWC bullets on a Ruger Redhawk deal.

Bullets and powder I get at local gunshows in Northern Virginia.

Brass I either save when I buy a box to shoot, or also pick up at gunshows.

Casting is kind of out of the question for a Desert Eagle...

Starline was where I planned on most likely getting brass too.

Last gun show was pretty weak for reloading components.

I'll check midway again...

I use hornady's XTP-HP bullets, cheapest I've found for them is at midsouth shooters supply.

got 500 .41 brass (Win) from Cabela. got 1000 215 cast .41 from Oregon Trail. powder and primers i had on hand. brass was high initially, but still have 300 that have not been fired. load up 200 at a time and it is holding well. skimpy belling and just enough crimp does that. several more 1000's from Oregon Trail have been down the bbls of my .41's. i like these cause they dont lead up my stuff.

like everything else, once you get into it, taint so bad.

I've got brass from starline, federal, winchester, remington and pmc. Can't say one is better than the other, all have been reloaded 8 times or so. If I was to just go and buy 1000 pieces of new brass, you can't beat starlines price.

Just for punching holes in paper, I buy commercial cast bullets from Mid Kansas bullets or Berry's plated bullets.. These I favor above cast because they seem to preform well in all my guns. Ordering Remington Jacketed bullets are a great price for this style bullet.

Berry's delivers free for orders above 25 dollars. I think Starlines prices are with postage included.

Mostly I've ordered from MidwayUSA or GRAFS.com, I've not had any problems with either of them.

I got tired of trying to find .41 Rem Mag brass in stock at shops and gunshows, so I ordered 500 rounds direct from Starline - the price they list on their internet site includes shipping. I obtain lead bullets from gunshows, in my area (NC) both Valiant (out of Alabama) and D&J (out of Maryland) have dealers set up and displaying 215 grain LSWC bullets - so get a couple of thousand at least once a year. I use lots of 2400 powder and Winchester large pistol primers in my 45 Colt, so I never have a shortage of those two components. You will like Starline direct, they are good folks to deal with. Would a Lee Hand Loader be enough to load about 50 every other month? Or is more force than is comfortable required?

the Lee Handloader gadget will work. it will cause you to work too.

have seen a couple in action. if a person were snowed in up in the Klondike, it would give said person something to do. that said, it does do the job.

the little Lee C press is very inexpensive and much less frustrating. at six boxes of pistol cartridges a year, it should last a very long time.
